Isabelle Guérin
Isabelle Guérin (born 1961) is a French ballet dancer. She was a member of the Paris Opera Ballet from 1978. In 1985, she received the title of '' Danseuse Étoile'' from Rudolf Nureyev. John Rockwell has described Guérin and Laurent Hilaire as "two of the Opera Ballet's greatest stars". She danced classical and modern repertoires until her retirement in 2001. Biography Born in the Paris suburb of Rosny-sous-Bois, Guérin grew up in Rambouillet, and studied ballet at its École de Danse. She continued her studies under Christiane Vaussard at the Conservatoire de Paris where she won the first prize in 1977, allowing her to complete her studies at the Paris Opera Ballet School. She joined the Paris Opera Ballet the following year. Rosella Hightower (January 10, 1920 – November 4, 2008) was an American ballerina and member of the Choctaw Nation who achieved fame in both the United States and Europe. Biography Rosella Hightower was born in Durwood, Carter County, Oklahoma, the only child of Charles Edgar Hightower and his wife, the former Eula May Fanning. Desmond Kelly
Desmond Kelly is a Ceylonese musician who has entertained in Sri Lanka and in Australia. He was born in Colombo in 1936. Darcey Bussell
Dame Darcey Andrea Bussell, (born Marnie Mercedes Darcey Pemberton Crittle; 27 April 1969) is an English retired ballerina and a former judge on the BBC television dance contest '' Strictly Come Dancing''. William Forsythe (choreographer)
William Forsythe (born December 30, 1949) is an American dancer and choreographer resident in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He is known for his work with the Ballet Frankfurt (1984–2004) and The Forsythe Company (2005–2015). ''In the Night'' is a ballet choreographed by Jerome Robbins to four nocturnes by Frédéric Chopin. It premiered on January 29, 1970 at the New York State Theater, performed by the New York City Ballet. Structure ''In the Night'' features three couples, depicted at different phases of their relationships. The first duet, set to Chopin's Nocturne in C sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 1, shows a pair of young lovers.
