Isabella Bertolini
Isabella Bertolini (born 21 July 1963) is an Italian politician. Biography She started her political activity in the youth organization of the Italian Liberal Party. Bertolini ran with Forza Italia in the 1994 general election in the "Modena - Sassuolo" constituency, but, with 29% of the vote, she was defeated by the candidate of the Progressives Franco Danieli. Also in 1994 she was appointed by Silvio Berlusconi as Provincial Coordinator for Modena of Forza Italia, then confirmed at the 1997 provincial congress. In 1994–1999 and 1999–2004 she was a municipal councilor in Modena. Furthermore, in 1995 she was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna, then reconfirmed in 2000 with 8,870 preferences; she also served as the group leader of Forza Italia in the regional council. The Chamber of Deputies ( it, Camera dei deputati) is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament (the other being the Senate of the Republic). The two houses together form a perfect bicameral system, meaning they perform identical functions, but do so separately. The Monti government was the sixty-first government of Italy and was announced on 16 November 2011. This Experts' cabinet was composed of independents, three of whom were women and was formed as an interim government. The government ran the country for eighteen months until the aftermath of the elections in Spring 2013 and then replaced by the Letta government, formed by Enrico Letta on 28 April. Formation On 9 November 2011, Monti was appointed a senator for life by Italian President Giorgio Napolitano. Andrea Riccardi (born 16 January 1950, in Rome) is an Italian historian, professor, politician and activist, founder of the Community of Sant'Egidio. He served as minister for international cooperation without portfolio in the Monti Cabinet. Life In 1999, he received the Houphouet-Boigny Peace Prize from the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. Luca Cordero di Montezemolo (; born 31 August 1947) is an Italian businessman, former Chairman of Ferrari, and formerly Chairman of Fiat S.p.A. and President of Confindustria and FIEG.
