The Isaac Elementary School District (often Isaac School District) is one of several K-8 school districts within the city limits of Phoenix, Arizona. Van Buren Street (Arizona)
Van Buren Street is a major arterial street that runs through a number of municipalities in Maricopa County in the U.S. state of Arizona. At one point, the road was simultaneously the route of U.S. Route 60 (US 60), US 70, US 80, and US 89. History Built after the founding of the city of Phoenix, the road was located outside of town in the 1880s. Following the expansion of the city northwards, the street became increasingly popular as people began to use it more and more. The routing of the Bankhead Highway, US 60, US 70, US 80, and US 89 also increased its popularity, turning the area into a center of life in the city. Overview The school district serves students within a area of Phoenix, and 27,761 students are enrolled within its 20 schools. Its boundaries are largely coextensive with what was the city of Phoenix prior to the 1960s.
