Isaac Zion Dogboe ( ; born 26 September 1994) is a Ghanaian-British professional boxer who held the WBO junior-featherweight title in 2018. Background Dogboe was born in Accra, Ghana, but moved to London, England. Amateur career Dogboe won the 2013 England Boxing, Amateur Boxing Association British England Boxing National Amateur Championships Lightweight Champions, lightweight title, when boxing out of the Territorial Army London BC. He qualified for the 2012 Olympics by winning a silver medal at the 2012 African Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament, African Olympic Qualifying Event, beating Mohamed Bedir (EGY), Emilian Polino (TAN), Ayabonga Sonjica (RSA) and only losing on countback after a 6:6 draw in the final to Aboubakr Lbida (MAR). Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. Jesús Gabriel "Jessie" Magdaleno (born November 8, 1991) is an American professional boxer who held the WBO junior featherweight title from 2016 to 2018. He is the younger brother of boxer Diego Magdaleno. Amateur career Magdaleno was one of the best amateur fighters in America, finishing his amateur career with a 120-16 record. In 2009 Magdaleno won both the United States National Championship by beating Rau'shee Warren and won the National Golden Gloves Championship by beating Antonio Nieves (among others) in the Bantamweight division.
