The Irish cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates to play the United Arab Emirates in February 2016. The tour consisted of two Twenty20 International (T20Is) matches and a 20-over tour match. Amjad Javed
Amjad Javed ( ur, ; born 5 July 1980) is a former cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He is an allrounder who bats with right-hand and bowls right-arm medium. He is one of the few cricketers for UAE who had played Asia Cup. Amjad Javed's grandfather moved to Dubai from Lahore, Pakistan 50 years ago, when his father was only 2 years old. Amjad Javed is of Pakistani descent but born and raised in UAE. He also worked for Emirates airlines as a baggage handler. Amjad took retirement from all forms of cricket on 22 December 2018. Rohan Mustafa
Rohan Mustafa ( ur, ; born: 7 October; 1988) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who plays for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He is the former captain of the United Arab Emirates national team. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-spin bowler. Early life Mustafa was born in Kohat, in Pakistan's North-West Frontier Province. His family moved to the UAE when he was 10, where his father had a car sales business in Sharjah. Niall John O'Brien (born 8 November 1981) is a former Irish cricketer and a cricket commentator. He is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Domestically O'Brien began his professional career with Kent in 2004 before joining Northamptonshire at the start of 2007, spending six seasons there before joining Leicestershire for 2013. Usman Mushtaq
Usman Mushtaq (born 5 November 1986) is a Pakistani-born cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He made his debut for the UAE in November 2015. He has represented the UAE at One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International levels. Before emigrating to the UAE, he played first-class cricket for Sialkot in Pakistan and also represented the Pakistan under-19s. Career in Pakistan Mushtaq was born in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan.
