Iris Verhoek (born 12 September 2001) is a Dutch singer who won the 6th season of ''The Voice Kids'' in 2017. Biography In 2011 Verhoek had already won the Zeewoldse kidssongfestival and played Keesie in the musical '' Kruimeltje''. In 2012 musical producer Albert Verlinde announced that Verhoek was going to be playing one of the leading players in the musical ''Annie''. At the age of 12, Verhoek participated in ''The Voice Kids ''The Voice Kids'' is a version of ''The Voice'' TV series franchise in which children participate. The Voice Kids (Netherlands TV Series)
''The Voice Kids'' is a Dutch talent show produced by Talpa and broadcast on RTL 4 since January 27, 2012. It was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Wendy van Dijk in seasons 1 to 8. From season 9 to 10, it was hosted by Martijn Krabbé and Jamai Loman. Since season 11, it has been hosted by and Jamai Loman. The show, developed after the success of ''The Voice of Holland'', was made for children aged six to fourteen in the first season, and for those eight to fourteen in later seasons. The program was created by John de Mol, and after achieving success in the Netherlands, the concept was marketed worldwide. Seasons 1, 2, and 3 all began one week after the last episode of ''The Voice of Holland'' of each year. Season 4 was broadcast eight weeks after the finale of ''The Voice of Holland'' and aired on Saturday evenings.
