Iris Riedel-Kühn
Iris Riedel-Kühn (born 16 March 1954) is a retired female tennis player from Germany. Riedel-Kühn was born on 16 March 1954 in São Paulo, Brazil and received her education in Brazil. In 1974, she started playing tennis in West Germany and became a member of the Lawn Tennis Turnier Club Rot-Weiß in Berlin. In 1975, she became national junior champion, and in 1976 and 1977, won the German national mixed doubles title. Rot-Weiss Tennis Club
The Lawn-Tennis-Turnier-Club "Rot-Weiß" (abbr.: LTTC, ''red-white'') is a tennis club located in Grunewald, part of a district in Berlin, Germany. The club was founded in 1897 as ''Lawn Tennis Turnier Club'', and was the origin for careers of many German tennis players in the 20th century like Cilly Aussem, Otto Froitzheim, Henner Henkel, Hans Moldenhauer, Hans-Jürgen Pohmann, Roman Najuch and Daniel Prenn. The central court has been the venue of the German Pro Championships since 1911 and later the German Open WTA Tour tournament from 1979 until 2008, and again since 2021. The club has 16 clay courts. The 1975 Torneo Godó or Trofeo Conde de Godó was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament that took place on outdoor clay courts at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. Janice Metcalf
Janice Metcalf (born July 10, 1952) is a retired American professional tennis player. She played on the men's tennis team at the University of Redlands. She reached the top 15 in the United States and the top 40 in the world. In 1975 she won the singles title at the Torneo Godó in Barcelona defeating Iris Riedel in the final. Because of a knee injury, she retired in 1977.
