Katie Wheeler
Katherine Wheeler (born February 8, 1940) is an American politician who served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and later the New Hampshire Senate. Wheeler was born and raised in St. Louis. She graduated from Smith College in 1961, and attained her master's degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She has lived in New Hampshire since 1965. Wheeler was first elected to the New Hampshire House of Representatives in 1988. Amanda Merrill
Amanda Merrill (born May 9, 1951) is a Democratic former member of the New Hampshire Senate from Durham, serving from 2008 to 2012. She represented Senate District 21, which comprised Dover, Durham, Epping, Lee, and Rollinsford. Merrill served on the Education; Election Law and Veteran's Affairs; Energy, Environment and Economic Development; and Wildlife, Fish and Game and Agriculture committees in the Senate. Family Merrill lives in Durham with her husband, Kenneth Fuld, who is Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the University of New Hampshire. They have two children, Anna and Sam Fuld, an outfielder in Major League Baseball from 2007 to 2015 and now the General Manager of the Philadelphia Phillies. They also have a grandson. Strafford County, New Hampshire
Strafford County is a county in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. As of the 2020 census, the population was 130,889. Its county seat is Dover. Strafford County was one of the five original counties identified for New Hampshire in 1769. It was named after William Wentworth, 2nd Earl of Strafford in the mistaken belief that he was the ancestor of governor John Wentworth – although they were distantly related, William had no descendants. The county was organized at Dover in 1771. In 1840, the size of the original county was reduced with the creation of Belknap County. Strafford County constitutes a portion of the Boston-Cambridge-Newton, MA-NH Metropolitan Statistical Area as well as of the greater Boston-Worcester-Providence, MA- RI-NH- CT Combined Statistical Area.
