Ireneo Bughao (born June 18, 1957) was awarded with Ripley’s Believe It or Not's cartoon in January 1997, with a caption that states: “Ireneo Bughao of Manila, Philippines is able to calculate the specific day of the week of any day in the past or future – faster than a computer!”. He has thought of and perfected a mathematical formula, where he can determine and give accurate answers with ease and astounding speed to those who would like to know the day they were born, or what day a date shall fall centuries from now. Bayawan, officially the City of Bayawan ( ceb, Dakbayan sa Bayawan), is a 2nd class component city in the province of Negros Oriental, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 122,747 people. Bayawan is located from Dumaguete, the provincial capital of Negros Oriental. It is a coastal city with a land area of , the largest in the province and whole Negros island. Mabinay bounds it to the north, Tanjay and Bais to the east, Santa Catalina to the southeast and Basay to the west and it also shares a boundary with Kabankalan City of Negros Occidental on the northwest. ''Mr. & Ms. Special Edition'' was a weekly opposition tabloid magazine published from 1983 to 1986 that played a pivotal role in bringing about the downfall of the regime of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos. Background ''Mr. & Ms. Special Edition'' was created by publisher Eugenia Apostol in response to the murder of opposition leader Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino upon his return from exile in the United States. National dailies were so intimidated by Marcos that coverage of the murder and Aquino's funeral, attended by two million Filipinos, was negligible. Apostol, angered by the non-coverage, printed a newsprint edition of ''Mr. & Ms.'' the glossy variety magazine she published which reproduced reportage and comment from the international press.
