Iranian Mosque, Satwa
The Iranian Mosque (also known as the Imam Hussein Mosque) located in Satwa, Dubai, is a Shia mosque founded by the Iranian community. It is located on Al Wasl Road, a short distance from the Jumeirah Mosque. Its architecture is inspired by quasi-Fatimid and Persian influences, with its facade and dome covered in traditional blue tiles, much like the exterior of the Iranian Hospital across the road. The mosque sprawls over an area of 2,500 square metres and was built in 1979 with the support of the Iranian Red Crescent. It contains several interior halls and rooms, and has a library with over 14,000 books of diverse topics and languages including Arabic, Persian, Urdu and English. The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding runs four weekly tours of the mosque, during which non-Muslims visitors can visit. Al Wasl Road
D 92, ( ar, د ٩٢) also known as Al Khaleej Road, Al Mina Road or Al Wasl Road, is a road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Beginning in the locality of Al Mamzar, D 92 progresses south-westward, past Deira, Dubai, Deira, Al Shindagha, Port Rashid and Bur Dubai. D 92 then runs parallel to D 94 road (United Arab Emirates), D 94 (Jumeirah Road) and D 90 (Satwa Road) before terminating at a junction with Umm Suqeim Street in Umm Suqeim. The road, which passes through Al Shindagha Tunnel, provides access to Bur Dubai.
Important landmarks located along D 92 include the Dubai Gold Souk, Al Shindagha Tunnel, Falcon Roundabout, Iranian Consulate, American School of Dubai, Al Wasl Police Station, Safa Park and Dubai Police Academy.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), officially the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran ( fa, جمعیت هلال احمر جمهوری اسلامی ایران, Jamʿiyyat-e Helâl-e Ahmar-e Jomhuri-ye Eslâmi-ye Irân) is a non-governmental humanitarian organization in Iran. Shia Islam is practiced by a minority of Muslims in the United Arab Emirates. It is also practiced among expatriate Muslim communities living in the country, most notably Iranians, as well as some Arabs, Pakistanis, Indians, and other nationalities. The Iranian Mosque Hosainia; fa, is a Shia mosque Hosainia located near the old Textile Souk in the Bur Dubai district of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding ( ar, مركز الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم للتواصل الحضاري; SMCCU) is a non-profit organisation which promotes awareness of Emirati culture, customs, traditions and religion among expatriates and foreign visitors in the United Arab Emirates, as well as aiming to remove cultural barriers.
