The Iran Fed Cup team represents Iran in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Tennis Federation of Iran. They currently compete in the Asia/Oceania Zone of Group II. 1972 Federation Cup (tennis)
The 1972 Federation Cup was the tenth edition of the most important competition between national teams in women's tennis. 31 nations participated in the tournament, which was held at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, South Africa from 20–25 March. South Africa defeated Great Britain in the final, in what was the first final not featuring United States or Australia, giving South Africa their first title. The 2013 Fed Cup (also known as the 2013 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas for sponsorship purposes) was the 51st edition of the most important tournament between national teams in women's tennis. The draw took place on 6 June 2012 in Paris, France. The final took place at the Tennis Club Cagliari in Cagliari, Italy on 1–2 November. The Asia/Oceania Zone was one of three zones of regional competition in the 2017 Fed Cup.
