Iqbal Asif Jewel
Iqbal Asif Jewel (born 1 March) is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer and producer. He is currently a member of the band Miles. Career Iqbal's first band was ''Legend'', whose first album was ''Onnobhubon''. After the rest of the band left to continue their academic studies, he joined Warfaze, a rock band that was one of the first Bangladeshi rock bands to incorporate elements of heavy metal and progressive metal/progressive rock in its songs. Miles (band)
Miles is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Dhaka in 1 August 1979. They have released ten studio albums and three compilations. They released their self titled debut studio album '' Miles'' in 1982, which contained English numbers. They released their second album ''A Step Farther'' in 1986. After four years, they released their third studio and first Bengali album ''Protisruti (Promise)'' in 1991. History The band formed in 1979 by Farid Rashid, Kamal Mainuddin, Larry Burnaby, Ishtiaq, Musa, Robin and Happy Akhand. Their first album, '' Miles'', was released in 1982, including five original songs and seven cover songs. Warfaze (Bengali language, Bengali: ওয়ারফেইজ) is a Bangladeshi heavy metal band formed in 6 June 1984 in Dhaka by Ibrahim Ahmed Kamal, Kamal, Meer, Helal, Naimul, and Bappy. They are one of the early heavy metal music, heavy metal bands in Bangladesh. The band had numerous line-up changes since 1984. Sumon (musician)
Saidus Salehin Khaled Sumon (born 8 January 1973), popularly known by his nickname Bassbaba Sumon, is a Bangladeshi rock singer-songwriter, bass player, composer, music producer and founder of the Bangladeshi rock band Aurthohin. He is the band leader and spokesperson of Aurthohin since the beginning. Sumon was born and raised in Dhaka. He started learning bass by himself at the age of 14. He first auditioned for rock band Feelings in 1990 at the age of 16 and joined the band that year. He had played in 11 bands by the age of 19. In 1996, he joined Warfaze and later appeared in the band's 1998 hit album " অসামাজিক (''Antisocial'')" and left the band. Artcell is a Bangladeshi progressive metal band formed in October 1999 by vocalist and riff guitarist George Lincoln D'Costa, lead guitarist Ershad Zaman, bassist Saef Al Nazi Cézanne and drummer Kazi Sazzadul Asheqeen Shaju. The first song the band composed was ‘'' অন্য সময় (Other Time)''’. The song set the standard for all the songs yet to come along the way.
