Ipek Duben (born 1941) is a contemporary visual artist based in Istanbul. She produces artist books, poetry, installations, video, painting and sculpture. Her work deals with identity issues, feminism, and migration with a strong emphasis on social and political criticism. Hasan İpek
Hasan İpek (born 1959) is a Turkish bureaucrat who served as the 11th Governor of Şırnak from 2013 to 2015, having been appointed by President Abdullah Gül on the recommendation of the Turkish Government. He previously served as the 9th Governor of Bayburt from 2011 to 2013. He is a former advisor to the Prime Minister of Turkey. He is a former ''Kaymakam'' (Sub-Governor of a district). Ozan İpek (born 10 November 1986) is a Turkish professional footballer, who most recently played as a left winger for Turkish club Erzincanspor. He began his professional career at Batman Petrolspor in the Turkish second tier. In 2007, he was transferred to Kahramanmaraşspor. Next season he was loaned to Bucaspor. During his spell at Bucaspor, he registered 10 goals and 10 assists. With this performance, he drew attention from Turkish Süper Lig clubs. The League of Peja ( sq, Lidhja e Pejës), also known as League of İpek or Besa-Besë (Pledge for a Pledge) between Albanians, was an Albanian political organization established in 1899 in the city of İpek (now Peja), Kosovo Vilayet, Ottoman Empire. It was led by Haxhi Zeka, a former member of the League of Prizren, and shared the same aim of achieving an autonomous Albanian vilayet within the Ottoman Empire. This organization was encouraged and supported by Austria-Hungary and directed against Ottoman reforms and against Serbs from Kosovo Vilayet.
