Dave Heaton
David Edward Heaton (born February 2, 1941) is the Iowa State Representative from the 91st District, representing all of Henry County and the northern portion of Lee County. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since January 1995. Born and raised in Sigourney, Iowa, he received his B.A. in history in 1964 from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, where he currently resides. For 40 years, he and his family owned and operated a popular restaurant operation, The Iris, located in Mount Pleasant. Richard D. Arnold (born February 9, 1945) is an Iowa State Representative from the 72nd District. He was first elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 1994. Early life and education Arnold was raised in Russell, Iowa. He obtained his degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. Career Politics Arnold has served on several committees in the Iowa House - the Local Government committee; the Natural Resources committee; and the Transportation committee. M. W. (Jack) Beaman (February 18, 1924 – January 9, 1998), was an American politician from the state of Iowa. Beaman was born February 18, 1924, in Hopeville, Clarke County, Iowa, to William and Mary Beaman. He graduated from Murray High School in 1942. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Randy Hughes (politician)
James Randell Hughes (born April 3, 1953) is a former American football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma and was drafted in the fourth round of the 1975 NFL draft. Early life Hughes attended Tulsa Memorial High School. He was a defensive back and wore lucky #13 jersey. As a senior, he was chosen by the Tulsa World newspaper as the Prep Player of the Year, becoming the first defensive back to ever win the award. Harold Van Maanen
Harold Gene Van Maanen (July 28, 1929 – October 12, 2021) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Van Maanen was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Gilbert and Cora (née Van Hall) Van Maanen, and married Luella Rose Groenendyk on February 23, 1950, in Tracy, Iowa. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, and served from 1952 to 1954. He was a farmer, but was involved in civic life, serving on the school board for Twin Cedars Community School District for 16 years. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1979 to 1999 as a Republican. He served as Republican minority leader from 1990 to 1992, speaker from 1993 to 1995, and speaker pro tempore from 1995 to 1999. Johnson County, Iowa
Johnson County is located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 152,854, making it the fourth-most populous county in Iowa. The county seat is Iowa City, home of the University of Iowa. Johnson County is included in the Iowa City metropolitan area, which is also included in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City Corridor Combined Statistical Area.
