The 55th District of the Iowa House of Representatives in the state of Iowa. It's currently composed of Franklin and Hamilton Counties, as well as part of Wright and Story Counties. Roger Thomas (Iowa Politician)
Roger D. Thomas (born December 13, 1950) is the Iowa State Representative from the 55th District. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1997 to 2001 in the 32nd District and from 2003 to 2011 in the 24th District. He received his BS from Upper Iowa University. , Thomas serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Natural Resources, Veterans Affairs, and Ways and Means committees. He also serves as ranking member of the Economic Growth Committee and as a member of the Economic Development Authority Board. Jason Schultz
Jason M. Schultz (born November 27, 1972) is the Iowa State Senator from the 6th District - previously Iowa's 9th District (2015-2022). A Republican, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015 and is an advocate for the loosening of child labor laws. He lives in Schleswig, Crawford County. Schultz worked as an insurance adjuster at Farmers Mutual Insurance Association in Schleswig and has farmed near Schleswig with his father DeWayne Schultz. For 13 years Schultz served as a volunteer firefighter, and served seven years in the Iowa National Guard. He is a retiring member of the Horn Memorial Hospital Foundation in the fall of 2007. Clarence Hoffman
Clarence C. Hoffman (born August 7, 1933) served in the Iowa House of Representatives 1998–2008, most recently from the 55th District. In his final Iowa House term, Mr. Hoffman served on the Commerce committee; the Local Government committee, the Economic Growth committee, where he was the ranking member, and on the Economic Development Appropriations Subcommittee. Charles W. 'Chuck' Larson Jr. (born April 1, 1968, in Newton, Iowa) is the former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the US to the Republic of Latvia. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Larson was the Iowa State Senator from the 19th District from 2003–2007, was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 1993-2001, and is a former chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa.
