The 95th District of the Iowa House of Representatives in the state of Iowa. It's currently composed of Louisa County, as well as part of Muscatine, Henry, and Des Moines Counties. Quentin Stanerson
Quentin Stanerson (born 1977) is an American politician and teacher who represented the 95th district of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2013 to 2017, which at the time consisted of much of northern and eastern Linn County, as well as parts of southeastern Buchanan County. He is a member of the Republican Party. Early life Stanerson was born in 1977 in Conroy, Iowa, where he was raised. He graduated from Williamsburg High School. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years, and was deployed overseas multiple times. After leaving the Marine Corps, Stanerson attended Kirkwood Community College, where he received an Associate of Arts. Joel Fry (politician)
Nelson Joel Fry (born June 18, 1974) is the Iowa State Representative from the 24th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2011. Fry was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and was raised and resides in Osceola. He has a B.A. from Simpson College a M.S.W. and an Aging Studies Certificate from the University of Iowa School of Social Work. , Fry serves on several committees in the Iowa House – the Administration and Rules, Education, Human Resources, Labor, and Public Safety committees. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003 to 2011. Harold Van Maanen
Harold Gene Van Maanen (July 28, 1929 – October 12, 2021) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Van Maanen was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Gilbert and Cora (née Van Hall) Van Maanen, and married Luella Rose Groenendyk on February 23, 1950, in Tracy, Iowa. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, and served from 1952 to 1954. He was a farmer, but was involved in civic life, serving on the school board for Twin Cedars Community School District for 16 years. He served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1979 to 1999 as a Republican. He served as Republican minority leader from 1990 to 1992, speaker from 1993 to 1995, and speaker pro tempore from 1995 to 1999. Des Moines County is located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2020 census, the population was 38,910. The county seat and largest city is Burlington.
