Ion Tripşa (30 March 1934 – 2001) was a Romanian sport shooter who competed in the 1964 Summer Olympics and in the 1972 Summer Olympics. He won a silver medal in the rapid fire pistol event at the 1964 Summer Olympics. Alba Iulia (; german: Karlsburg or ''Carlsburg'', formerly ''Weißenburg''; hu, Gyulafehérvár; la, Apulum) is a city that serves as the seat of Alba County in the west-central part of Romania.
