Ioannis Vossos
Ioannis Vossos (born 10 October 1960) is a Greek former water polo player who competed in the 1980 Summer Olympics and in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He played for Ethnikos Piraeus. Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins the match. Each team is made up of six field players and one goalkeeper. Excluding the goalkeeper, players participate in both offensive and defensive roles. The 1984 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1984) were an international multi-sport event held from July 28 to August 12, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, United States. Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club is the water polo team of Ethnikos OFPF (meaning: ''National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum,'' in Greek: ''Εθνικός Όμιλος Φιλάθλων Πειραιώς Φαλήρου''). Ethnikos is one of the most successful and traditional water polo clubs in Greece.
