Ioannis Tamouridis
Ioannis Tamouridis ( el, Ιωάννης Ταμουρίδης; born 3 June 1980) is a Greek former professional cyclist from Thessaloniki, Greece. He started cycling in 1995 and he competed in the road and track disciplines. Tamouridis now works as a directeur sportif for UCI WorldTeam . Career Early career Highlights of his earlier career include two medals in world track championships, in Points Races (Los Angeles 2005) and Scratch (Bordeaux 2006). He has won 4 medals in track world cup by 2006 and has more than 30 times become Greek national champion in all disciplines (road, track and mountain bike races) and all categories. In 2008, Tamouridis was given a one-year ban from cycling, following a positive drugs test for oxandrolone, an androgen and anabolic steroid (AAS). 2011 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Time Trial
The men's time trial of the 2011 UCI Road World Championships cycling event took place on 21 September 2011 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tour Of Greece
The International Tour of Hellas is a road bicycle racing stage race. It consists of five stages and is usually held between April and May. The race was first held in 1968 as the ''Antiquities Trophy'', and was later known as the ''Tour of Hellas (or Greece)''. The race was held sporadically from 1968 until 2012. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) made the race part of the UCI Europe Tour in 2005; the race had previously been held as an amateur event. Tirreno–Adriatico
Tirreno–Adriatico, nicknamed the "Race of the Two Seas", is an elite road cycling stage race in Italy, run between the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic coasts. Paris–Roubaix is a one-day professional bicycle road race in northern France, starting north of Paris and finishing in Roubaix, at the border with Belgium.
