Ioana Ducu (born 18 April 1996) is a former Romanian tennis player. In her career, she won one doubles title on the ITF Women's Circuit and reached best WTA rankings of 830 in singles and 736 in doubles. In June 2014, together with fellow Romanian Ioana Loredana Roșca, Ducu won the girls' doubles tournament at the French Open, defeating CiCi Bellis and Markéta Vondroušová Markéta Šimková (née Vondroušová; ; born 28 June 1999) is a Czech professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of world No. 14 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). Vondroušová finished runner-up at the 2019 French Open, ... in the final, in three sets. 2014 French Open
The 2014 French Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 118th edition of the French Open and the second Grand Slam event of the year. It took place at the Stade Roland Garros from 25 May to 8 June. It consisted of events for professional players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Junior and wheelchair players also took part in singles and doubles events.
