Inés María Zabaraín
Inés María Zabaraín Pinto (born August 23, 1969 in Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia) is a journalist and newscaster, mainly known for presenting Noticias Caracol of Caracol Television until 2011. Early career She is the second daughter of the marriage of Orlando Zabaraín Riascos and Inés Pinto Elías. At the age of four years, she moved to Santa Marta to attend her elementary and high school studies at ''Colegio Divino Niño'' -Divine Child School- and ''Colegio La Presentación'' -Our Lady of the Presentation School-, respectively. After graduation from high school, she travelled to Bogotá, where she joined the ''Pontificia Universidad Javeriana''. There, Inés María studied Social Communication and Journalism. For one year, she was in Ohio, United States, as part of a university exchange program for learning English. Santa Marta
Santa Marta (), officially Distrito Turístico, Cultural e Histórico de Santa Marta ("Touristic, Cultural and Historic District of Santa Marta"), is a city on the coast of the Caribbean Sea in northern Colombia. Producciones JES
Producciones JES is a Colombian ''programadora''. It was founded in 1964. The name was based on the founder's initials; Producciones Julio Enrique Sánchez. History Among the programs Producciones JES carried were cartoons, foreign programs and (most importantly) the Academy Awards, Miss Universe and Grammy Awards. JES still produces the former for RCN. It was one of the ''programadoras'' that became part of the association OTI de Colómbia, which produced the Olympic Games and the World Cup. Other members of OTI included RCN TV, RTI Colombia, Caracol Televisión, Producciones PUNCH and Datos y Mensajes. Suffering a fate similar to that of Promec Televisión after the ''licitación'' of 1997, its poor scheduling helped to contribute to the decline of the company. QAP was a Colombia, Colombian newscast aired between January 2, 1992 and December 31, 1997 on Canal A. It was produced by the ''programadora'' TV13. History In 1991, the journalists María Isabel Rueda and María Elvira Samper had the idea to create their own news production company.
