Inza (russian: И́нза) is a town and the administrative center of Inzensky District in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Syuksyumka River (Sura's basin) southwest of Ulyanovsk, the administrative center of the oblast. Ulyanovsk Oblast (russian: Ульяновская область, ''Ul’janovskaja oblast’'') is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). It is located in the Volga Federal District. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries.
