Inturi Venkateswara Rao
Inturi Venkateswara Rao ( te, ఇంటూరి వెంకటేశ్వరరావు), known as Inturi (1 July 1909 – 2002) was an Indian freedom fighter, Trade unionist, writer and film journalist. Brief lifesketch Inturi was born at Chandrarajupalem near Sattenapalli in Guntur district in 1909. His parents are Narasimham Pantulu and Laxmikantamma. After primary education at Tenali, he was attracted by Mahatma Gandhi and participated in the Non-cooperation movement in 1921. He was sentenced to three and half years jail term in 1930 for his participation in Salt Satyagraha. He joined the Socialist Party and was associated with Jayaprakash Narayan. Inturi was also a correspondent with ''The Bombay Chronicle''. He has joined the film industry in 1936 and worked with Gudavalli Ramabrahmam, Tripuraneni Gopichand and P. Sattenapalle is a town in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and the headquarters of Sattenapalle mandal under Sattenapalle revenue division. Atukuri Molla
Atukuri Molla (1440–1530) was a Telugu poet who authored the Telugu-language Ramayana. Identified by her caste, she was popularly known as Kummara (potter) Molla. Mollamamba or Molla was the daughter of Kesana Setti who was a potter by profession. That they belonged to the bayya community. Earlier historians placed her as a contemporary of Tikkana Somayaji during the times of Kakatiya empire. But, Kandukuri Veeresalingam Pantulu in his ‘Andhra Kavula Charitra’ points out that she was a contemporary of Sri Krishna Deva Raya, disproving the earlier claims that she was the sister of Kummara Gurunatha who was the scribe of Tikkana Somayaji in translating Mahabharata. The Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu Award is an award issued by the Indian state government of Andhra Pradesh, to recognise lifetime achievements in Telugu cinema. Tarikonda Venkamamba
Tarigonda Vengamamba (alternate spelling: Venkamamba; 20 April 1730 – 21 August 1817), also known as Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba, was a poet and staunch devotee of God Venkateswara in the 18th century. She wrote numerous poems and songs. Early years Vengamamba was born into a family of Vangipuram (Vengipuram) in a golla family in 1730 in the Tarigonda village of Andhra Pradesh state. Her father was Krishnayamatya and mother was Mangamamba. Since childhood, she was an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, and her devotion made the villagers believe that she was insane. Married at a very early age (common practice in those times), she lost her husband Venkatachalapathi and became a child-widow.
