Into The Fire (Dokken Song)
"Into the Fire" is a song by American heavy metal band Dokken, released on September 11, 1984 on the album ''Tooth and Nail''. The song peaked at number 21 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the United States. It was featured in the 1987 film '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'' along with a title track named after the film. The song was absent on the VHS release but was reinstated on the original DVD release and all future releases thereon. In 2019, the song was used as the theme music to the National Wrestling Alliance's weekly wrestling show, ''NWA Power'', and was the namesake for their pay-per-view event, NWA Into the Fire. In a 2010 interview George Lynch stated the song was musically inspired by the Judas Priest song "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll" as they share a very similar main riff. "Dream Warriors" is a song by American band Dokken, that was written by members George Lynch & Jeff Pilson for the movie '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors''. The song was released as a single in 1987, charting at number 22 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and was also released on Dokken's fourth album, '' Back for the Attack,'' as the closing track to that album''.'' Music video The music video used clips from the movie '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'', and primarily featured actress Patricia Arquette, and Robert Englund in the role of Freddy Krueger. Michael J. Brown (born September 8, 1956), a.k.a. "Wild" Mick Brown, is an American drummer who has played in the rock bands Dokken, Ted Nugent, Lynch Mob, and Xciter. Early life Brown was born in San Mateo County, California, on September 8, 1956, and began playing drums at age eight when on his birthday he took his first drum lesson from Mickey Hart (who three years later joined The Grateful Dead). Career Dokken Brown joined Dokken in 1981. He replaced Gary Holland, who left Dokken to join Dante Fox and later Great White. Before that, Brown played drums in The Boyz (1975–1977) and then in Xciter (1977–1981). Both bands also featured future Dokken bandmate George Lynch. "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll" is a song by the English heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was originally released on their 1984 studio album, ''Defenders of the Faith'', and issued as a single later that year. Background "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll" was included on '' The Best of Judas Priest: Living After Midnight'', which was not endorsed by the band. The tune itself was composed by Bob Halligan Jr., of the band Ceili Rain. The first half of the guitar solo is played by Glenn Tipton and the second half is played by K. K. Downing. Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million albums and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. NWA Into the Fire (also stylized Into the 🔥🔥🔥) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) that took place on December 14, 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia.
