Into (album)
''Into'' (''Enthusiasm'') is the fourth studio album by the Finnish rock band The Rasmus (after ''Peep'', '' Playboys'' and ''Hell of a Tester''), and the first studio album to be released under the name "The Rasmus". It was originally released on October 29, 2001 by Playground Music. It is the band's first studio album with their new drummer Aki Hakala, who replaced Janne Heiskanen in 1999. The (international only) singles taken from it were "F-F-F-Falling", "Chill", " Madness" and "Heartbreaker/Days". All of these were released in 2001 apart from ''Heartbreaker/Days'', which was released in 2002. For this fact and the name's change, some fans consider this album the first of "The Rasmus". The album has sold double platinum in Finland and was the first album by The Rasmus to be released in other European countries such as France and Spain. They won four EMMAs in 2002 (the Finnish equivalent of Grammys) for Best Group, Best Album, Best Pop/Rock Album and Best Song (for "F-F-F-Fal ...

Finnish Name
In Finland, a person must have a surname and at least one given name with up to three given names permitted. Surnames are inherited either patrilineally or matrilineally, while given names are usually chosen by a person's parents. Finnish names come from a variety of dissimilar traditions that were consolidated only in the early 20th century. The first national act on names came into force in 1921, and it made surnames mandatory. Between 1930 and 1985, the Western Finnish tradition whereby a married woman took her husband's surname was mandatory. Previously in Eastern Finland, this was not necessarily the case. On 1 January 2019, the reformed Act on Forenames and Surnames came into force. Finnish given names are often of Christian origin (e.g., ''Jukka'' from Greek Johannes), but Finnish and Swedish origins are also common. In Finnish, the letter "j" denotes the approximant , as in English ''you''. For example, the two different names ''Maria'' and ''Marja'' are pronounced nearly id ...

Irish National Teachers' Organisation
The Irish National Teachers' Organisation (INTO) ( ga, Cumann Múinteoirí Éireann), founded in 1868, is the oldest and largest teachers' trade union in Ireland. It represents teachers at primary level in the Republic of Ireland, and at primary and post-primary level in Northern Ireland. The head office is at Parnell Square, Dublin, and there is a Northern Irish office in Belfast. The current INTO President (2022–23) is John Driscoll; John Boyle is the General Secretary and Gerry Murphy is the Northern Secretary. History Origins The union was founded in 1868 with the help and encouragement of Danish-born philanthropist Vere Foster. Upon its inception there were 47 local teachers' associations which affiliated with the INTO, and Foster became the first president. Affiliations steadily increased, with 168 by 1869 and 235 by the end of 1875. By 1914 there were 15,550 members. Early successes included ensuring the provision of teachers' residences, abolition of paymen ...

Injective Function
In mathematics, an injective function (also known as injection, or one-to-one function) is a function that maps distinct elements of its domain to distinct elements; that is, implies . (Equivalently, implies in the equivalent contrapositive statement.) In other words, every element of the function's codomain is the image of one element of its domain. The term must not be confused with that refers to bijective functions, which are functions such that each element in the codomain is an image of exactly one element in the domain. A homomorphism between algebraic structures is a function that is compatible with the operations of the structures. For all common algebraic structures, and, in particular for vector spaces, an is also called a . However, in the more general context of category theory, the definition of a monomorphism differs from that of an injective homomorphism. This is thus a theorem that they are equivalent for algebraic structures; see for more details. ...
