Into The Pit (Fight Album)
''Into the Pit'' is a box set consisting of three CDs and one DVD, released by heavy metal band Fight, which was fronted by Judas Priest vocalist Rob Halford. It includes Fight's two studio albums ''War of Words'' and ''A Small Deadly Space'' and the half-live, half-remixes EP ''Mutations''. The box set was released as a normal edition and as a limited edition. Only 2,500 copies are made of the limited edition, and they are numbered. Also included in the limited edition is a flyer signed by Rob Halford. Box Set
A box set or (its original name) boxed set is a set of items (for example, a compilation of books, musical recordings, films or television programs) traditionally packaged in a box and offered for sale as a single unit. Music Artists and bands with an extremely long and successful career often have anthology or "essential" collections of their boxes of music released as box sets. These often include rare and never-before-released tracks. War Of Words (Fight Album)
''War of Words'' is the debut album by the American heavy metal band Fight, released on September 14, 1993 by Epic Records. This is the first release Rob Halford recorded after his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. He brought with him drummer Scott Travis from the band and recruited three new members. The music is a mixture between the heavy metal sound created by Judas Priest and a thrash/groove metal sound similar to that of Pantera. Halford is also credited with playing guitar but only recorded vocals for the album. Music videos were made for "Nailed to the Gun", "Immortal Sin" and "Little Crazy". Freewheel Burning
"Freewheel Burning" is a song by the English heavy metal band Judas Priest, appearing on their 1984 album ''Defenders of the Faith'', and released as the first single off that album. The 12" version of the single contained an extended guitar intro that was omitted on the full-length release. The B-sides of this single are live versions of "Breaking the Law" and "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" recorded at the US Festival from Glen Helen Park, near Devore, San Bernardino in California on 29 May 1983 in front of an approximately audience of 375,000 people. The version of "Breaking the Law" is also the first official version released to feature K.K. Downing's added live guitar solo. Roy Z (born February 1968) is an American guitarist, songwriter and record producer, best known for his work with Bruce Dickinson (from Iron Maiden), Halford, and Judas Priest. He also is the founder of Tribe of Gypsies, a Latin-influenced hard rock band. Roy also helped write and produce the band Life After Death in 1996. Biography Roy Z was born Roy Ramirez in Pacoima, Los Angeles, California, United States, but changed his name in the 1980s because he felt "ethnic names were not trendy at the time". Fight was a heavy metal band formed in Phoenix, Arizona by British vocalist Rob Halford following his departure from Judas Priest in 1992. Biography Halford began writing material in 1991 after being freshly inspired by Pantera's sound during their tour supporting the album ''Cowboys From Hell''. The initial intention was for his solo project to be briefly short while remaining a member for Judas Priest, but their relationship worsened in 1992 and Halford was no longer in the band in September of that year. Halford then started the Fight band and recruited drummer Scott Travis, despite Travis still being Judas Priest's member. Judas Priest
Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1969. They have sold over 50 million albums and are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time.
