''Interview 2016'' is the second EP by American experimental hip hop group Death Grips, self-released by the band on March 22, 2016. Consisting of six instrumental tracks, the EP acts as a soundtrack album to a previously released interview video with host Matthew Hoffman, which featured the tracks instead of the interview audio. ''Interview 2016'' was released on vinyl as the second LP in a 2LP package alongside Death Grips' other instrumental album ''Fashion Week'' for Record Store Day 2016. Individually, ''Interview 2016'' was also self-released by the band on cassette. Death Grips
Death Grips is an American experimental hip hop group formed in 2010 in Sacramento, California. The group consists of Stefan Burnett, also known as MC Ride (vocals, lyrics), Zach Hill (drums, production, lyrics), and Andy Morin (keyboards, production, lyrics). Though he is not the group's frontman, Hill has been credited with being the driving creative force behind the project. Zach Hill
Zachary Charles Hill (born December 28, 1979) is an American multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. He is best known as the drummer and co-producer of the groups Death Grips and the I.L.Y's, and as the drummer of math rock band Hella. Art In addition to music, Hill is also a visual artist. He published a fully illustrated book, ''Destroying Yourself is Too Accessible,'' which included the Zach Hill and Holy Smokes album ''Masculine Drugs'' released in 2004 on TNI Books and Suicide Squeeze Records. Stefan Corbin Burnett, better known by his stage name MC Ride or simply Ride, is an American rapper, songwriter, and visual artist. He is the frontman of experimental hip hop group Death Grips. He began his career in the late 1990s, before forming Death Grips with drummer Zach Hill and keyboardist Andy Morin in 2010. Record Store Day is an annual event inaugurated in 2007 and held on one Saturday (typically the third) every April and every Black Friday in November to "celebrate the culture of the independently owned record store".
