Interstate 75 Business (Tifton, Georgia)
Business routes of Interstate 75 exist in three states. Georgia has three existing Interstate 75 (I-75) business routes and one other that was deleted. Ohio has three business routes for I-75. Nine other I-75 business routes also exist, or have existed, in Michigan, and a 10th has been proposed. Georgia Valdosta business loop Interstate 75 Business (I-75 Bus.) in Valdosta travels from exits 16 to 22. It is not signed very consistently, being only briefly mentioned on U.S. Route 84 (US 84)/ US 221/ State Route 38 (SR 38) and US 41 Bus./ SR 7 Bus. It is not even signed at all on I-75. Interstate 75
Interstate 75 (I-75) is a major north–south Interstate Highway in the Great Lakes and Southeastern regions of the United States. As with most Interstates that end in 5, it is a major cross-country, north–south route, traveling from State Road 826 (SR 826, Palmetto Expressway) and SR 924 (Gratigny Parkway) on the Hialeah–Miami Lakes border (northwest of Miami, Florida) to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, at the Canadian border. It is the second-longest north–south Interstate Highway (after I-95) and the seventh-longest Interstate Highway overall. I-75 passes through six different states. The highway runs the length of the Florida peninsula from the Miami area and up the Gulf Coast through Tampa. Crisp County–Cordele Airport is a county-owned, public-use airport located two nautical miles (4  km) northeast of the central business district of Cordele, a city in Crisp County, Georgia, United States. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. The airport does not have scheduled commercial airline service. History Opened to the public in March 1943, during World War II, the airport was requisitioned by the United States Army Air Force, and was known as Cordele Army Airfield. Concurrency (road)
A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. Other terminology for a concurrency includes overlap, coincidence, duplex (two concurrent routes), triplex (three concurrent routes), multiplex (any number of concurrent routes), dual routing or triple routing. Concurrent numbering can become very common in jurisdictions that allow it. Cordele, Georgia
Cordele is a city in and the county seat of Crisp County, Georgia, United States. The population was 11,147 at the 2010 census. Cordele calls itself the Watermelon Capital of the World. History Cordele was incorporated on January 1, 1888, and named for Cordelia Hawkins, eldest daughter of Colonel Samuel Hawkins, the president of the Savannah, Americus and Montgomery Railway. In November 1864, the area that is now Cordele served as the temporary capital of Georgia. During the last days of the Confederacy, Georgia's war governor Joseph E. Brown used his rural farmhouse to escape the wrath of Sherman's March to the Sea. During that time, the farmhouse, which Brown called "Dooly County Place," served as the official capital for only a few days. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) is a public college in Tifton, Georgia. It is part of the University System of Georgia and offers baccalaureate and associate degrees. The college is named after Abraham Baldwin, a signer of the United States Constitution from Georgia and the first president of the University of Georgia. ABAC was established in 1908 as the Second District A&M School. The name was changed to the South Georgia A&M College in 1924, and to the Georgia State College for Men in 1929. State Route 125 (SR 125) is a state highway that runs south-to-north in an S-shape through the southern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. It travels through Lowndes, Lanier, Berrien, Tift, Irwin, and Ben Hill counties connecting the Valdosta and Fitzgerald metropolitan areas.
