International Science Programme
The International Science Programme (ISP) is an independent unit at Uppsala University under the Faculty of Science and Technology, in Uppsala, Sweden. History ISP was founded in 1961 by Tor Ragnar Gerholm at the Uppsala University Institute of Physics as a scholarship program called ''The International Seminar in Physics''. The program provided scholarships for physics researchers from academic institutions in low-income countries. Uppsala University ( sv, Uppsala universitet) is a public university, public research university in Uppsala, Sweden. Founded in 1477, it is the List of universities in Sweden, oldest university in Sweden and the Nordic countries still in operation. Scholarship
A scholarship is a form of financial aid awarded to students for further education. Generally, scholarships are awarded based on a set of criteria such as academic merit, diversity and inclusion, athletic skill, and financial need.
