Chinatown Station (MBTA)
Chinatown station is a rapid transit station on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Orange Line (MBTA), Orange Line, located at the edge of the Chinatown, Boston, Chinatown neighborhood in the Downtown Boston, downtown core of Boston, Massachusetts. The station has two offset side platforms, which run under Washington Street (Boston), Washington Street from Hayward Place to Lagrange Street. The three entrances are located at the intersection of Washington Street with Essex and Boylston streets. Like all Orange Line stations, both the subway platforms and all bus connections are fully accessible. Boylston (southbound) and Essex (northbound) stations opened as part of the Washington Street Tunnel in 1908. The whole station was renamed Essex in 1967, then Chinatown in 1987. Cermak–Chinatown Station
Cermak-Chinatown is an 'L' station on the CTA's Red Line. The station is located in Chicago's Chinatown neighborhood and contains many elements of Chinese culture in its architecture. The resort has two tile murals with "Welcome to Chinatown" also written in Chinese. Passengers using the stairs or escalator are welcomed by a couple of lion statues, called "foo dogs," meant to protect against evil spirits at the entrance. The bins on the platform are painted in red and green, the Chinese color for prosperity and longevity, with Welcome written in Chinese on the next one. Like the other eight stations of the Dan Ryan Branch, Cermak–Chinatown was built by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, looking identical to . Chinatown station is an elevated light rail station on the L Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located along Spring Street above College Street in the Chinatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, just north of Downtown Los Angeles. The Canal Street station is a New York City Subway station complex. It is located in the Manhattan neighborhoods of Chinatown and SoHo, and is shared by the BMT Broadway Line, the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, and the BMT Nassau Street Line. It is served by the 6, J, N, and Q trains at all times; the R train at all times except late nights; the W train during weekdays; the <6> train during weekdays in the peak direction; the Z train during rush hours in the peak direction; and the 4 train during late nights. The complex comprises four stations, all named Canal Street; the Broadway Line's local and express tracks stop at separate sets of platforms. Chinatown station is an underground SEPTA subway station in Philadelphia. It is located on the Broad Street Line's Broad-Ridge Spur, and is located at the eastern edge of Philadelphia's Chinatown at 8th and Race Streets. The station is adjacent to the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and the former Philadelphia Police Headquarters. Old Town/Chinatown station is a MAX Light Rail station served by the Blue and Red Lines. It is located in the Old Town Chinatown neighborhood in Portland, Oregon and is currently the 6th stop eastbound on the Eastside MAX. It is also the last stop before crossing the Willamette River. It is next to the Portland Downtown Heliport. The station was previously also served by the Yellow Line, from 2004 to 2009, until that line's relocation to the Portland Transit Mall. Chinatown station (officially Chinatown-Rose Pak station) is an underground Muni Metro light rail station, located under Stockton at Washington Street in the Chinatown neighborhood of San Francisco, California. It opened on November 19, 2022, as part of the Central Subway project. The station's official name honors Rose Pak, a political activist in the Chinatown community who helped secure support and funding for the station and the extension of the T Third Street line. Service Chinatown station was designed by Kwan Henmi, now DLR Group. It includes retail space at the ground level, and rooftop patio. The station structure extends below ground and required the deepest building excavation in the City of San Francisco. Gallery Place is a Washington Metro station in Washington, D.C., United States, on the Green, Red and Yellow Lines. It is a transfer station between the Red Line on the upper level and the Green/Yellow Lines on the lower level. Gallery Place is located in Northwest Washington, with entrances at 7th and F, 7th and H, and 9th and G Streets. The station's only street elevator is north of F Street on the east side of 7th Street. Chinatown MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) interchange station on the North East (NEL) and Downtown (DTL) lines in Outram, Singapore. It serves the ethnic enclave of Chinatown. Situated at the junction of Eu Tong Sen Street, New Bridge Road and Upper Cross Street, the station is near several landmarks, including the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Masjid Jamae (Chulia), Chinatown Point and People's Park Complex. First announced as People's Park MRT station in March 1996, the NEL station was one of the most challenging projects undertaken during that line's construction.
