International Distributions Services plc (formerly Royal Mail Limited and Royal Mail plc) is a British company providing postal and courier services. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. History The company was established in September 2013, in anticipation of its initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange in October 2013. In July 2022, it was announced that the holding company responsible for both Royal Mail and GLS would change its name to International Distributions Services. Keith Williams is a British businessman who has been chairman of Halfords and Royal Mail since 2018. He was chief executive officer (CEO) of British Airways from 2011 to 2016. Early life Williams was born on Teesside, England, and received an undergraduate degree from the University of Liverpool.
