International Anti-Corruption Conference
The International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is a series of international conferences organised by the IACC Council, in association with local governments and organisations, with Transparency International as its secretariat. The conference was first held in 1983 in Washington D.C.,and the New York City Department of Investigation and has since been held every two years in a different country. IACC has developed a number of global initiatives that run independently of the conference, such as Young Journalist Initiative, Social Entrepreneurs for Transparency, Journalists 4 Transparency, anti-corruption film festival, and the Fair Play music Anti-corruption competition. A convention, in the sense of a meeting, is a gathering of individuals who meet at an arranged place and time in order to discuss or engage in some common interest. The most common conventions are based upon industry, profession, and fandom. ACCU Uganda
The Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda, abbreviated as ACCU, is a Ugandan civil society advocacy organization whose primary aim is to fight against corruption in Uganda. It has a network of nine (9) Regional Anti-Corruption Coalitions (RACCs) in the country. ACCU was founded in 1999 as a brainchild of 10 organisations and individuals who had fruitlessly tried to fight corruption in their individual capacity and so found relevancy in pursuing their common goal as a group. The coalition then existed as a loose arrangement until 2004 when it was formally registered as an independent body. The anti-graft body's initiatives are primarily aimed at empowering grassroots communities to effectively engage Local Governments to act against corruption and strengthen good governance. Corruption Watch (South Africa)
Corruption Watch is a South African anti-corruption non-profit organisation that sets out to monitor and expose acts of corruption that involve public resources and donated charitable resources in South Africa. The various focus areas in which the organisation monitors and exposes corruption include corruption in the education sector, police corruption, leadership appointments (mainly in institutions that support democracy), corruption in the mining applications processes and its effects of communities, corruption in land ownership and tenure, and public procurement. COVID-19 Pandemic

Corruption is a form of dishonesty or a criminal offense which is undertaken by a person or an organization which is entrusted in a position of authority, in order to acquire illicit benefits or abuse power for one's personal gain. Haruhiko Kuroda
is a Japanese banker and a former Ministry of Finance government official. He serves as the 31st and current Governor of the Bank of Japan (BOJ). He was formerly the President of the Asian Development Bank from 1 February 2005 to 18 March 2013. Early life Kuroda was born in 1944, in Ōmuta, Fukuoka Prefecture, the eldest son of his family.
