Interlocutor (politics)
An interlocutor is someone who informally explains the views of a government and also can relay messages back to a government. Unlike a spokesperson, an interlocutor often has no formal position within a government or any formal authority to speak on its behalf, and even when they do, everything an interlocutor says is his own personal opinion and not the official view of anyone. Communications between interlocutors are often useful at conveying information and ideas. Often interlocutors will talk with each other before formal negotiations. Interlocutors play an extremely important role in Sino-American relations. A government is the system or group of people governing an organized community, generally a state. A spokesperson, spokesman, or spokeswoman, is someone engaged or elected to speak on behalf of others. Narinder Nath Vohra
Narinder Nath Vohra (born 5May1936), popularly referred as N. N. Vohra, is a retired 1959batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Punjab cadre who was the 12thgovernor of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. He was the first civilian governor of Jammu and Kashmir in eighteenyears after Jagmohan. As an IAS officer, Vohra has also served as Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, Home Secretary of India, Defence Secretary of India and Defence Production Secretary of India. From February2003 until he became the governor of the state, Vohra had been the Government of India's interlocutor in Jammu and Kashmir. ''The Indian Express'' is an English-language Indian daily newspaper founded in 1932. It is published in Mumbai by the Indian Express Group. In 1999, eight years after the group's founder Ramnath Goenka's death in 1991, the group was split between the family members. The southern editions took the name ''The New Indian Express'', while the northern editions, based in Mumbai, retained the original ''Indian Express'' name with ''"The"'' prefixed to the title. Raj Bhavan (translation: ''Government House'') is the official winter residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Winter capital city Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. Raj Bhavan of Jammu was one of the Maharaja's palace buildings, Ranbir Mahal, which is under the tenancy of the State Government of Jammu and Kashmir. The Raj Bhavan overlooks the river Tawi. Dineshwar Sharma (23 March 1954 – 4 December 2020) was an Indian Indian Police Service, police officer. He was the chief of the Indian Intelligence Bureau (India), Intelligence Bureau (succeeded by Rajiv Jain), that is the Director of Intelligence Bureau which is the highest-ranked post in the Indian Police Service (IPS). He also served as an Interlocutor (politics), interlocutor to the government of India for the state of Jammu and Kashmir (state), Jammu and Kashmir. He served as the 34th Administrator of Lakshadweep from 2019 until his death.
