Interface (film)
''Interface'' is a 1984 American science fiction comedy- horror film starring John Davies, Lauren Lane and Mathew Sacks. It was Lou Diamond Phillips's first film role, as Punk #1. Primarily directed by Andy Anderson, ''Interface'' was a production of Anderson's film program at the University of Texas at Arlington. The film was scripted, acted, and initially directed entirely by UTA students. The movie takes place on a fictional college campus. Lauren Lane
Lauren Lane (born 1959) is an American film, television, stage actress, and professor. She is best known for her role as C.C. Babcock on ''The Nanny''. Life and career Lane was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and raised in Arlington, Texas. She attended Lamar High School and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Lane also earned a Master's degree in the advanced training program at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. In 2013, she briefly taught at Carnegie Mellon University. Lane is on the faculty of the Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University in San Marcos. Lane was married to businessman David Wilkins and together they have one daughter, Kate Wilkins. Vestron Video
Vestron Video was the main subsidiary of Vestron, Inc., a home video company based in Stamford, Connecticut, that was active from 1981 to 1993, and is considered to have been a pioneer in the home video market. The name is now used for a collector-oriented home entertainment label of Lionsgate. History Vestron was founded in 1981 by Austin Owen Furst Jr. (born 1943), an executive at HBO, who was hired to dismantle the assets of Time-Life Films. Furst bought the video rights of the film library for himself and decided to form a home entertainment company with these assets. Furst's daughter suggested the moniker "Vestron," a portmanteau combining the name of Roman goddess Vesta and "Tron", which means "instrument" in Greek. Louis Diamond Phillips ( born Upchurch; February 17, 1962) is a Filipino-American actor and film director. His breakthrough came when he starred as Ritchie Valens in the biographical drama film '' La Bamba'' (1987).
