''Interchange'' is a 2016 Malaysian-Indonesian fantasy thriller film directed by Dain Iskandar Said and starring Shaheizy Sam, Nicholas Saputra, Prisia Nasution, Alvin Wong, and Iedil Putra. The film premiered in the Locarno International Film Festival on 5 August 2016 and was released in Malaysian cinemas on the 1st of December of the same year. Shaheizy Sam bin Abdul Samad (born 4 September 1982) is a Malaysian actor, singer, rapper, and producer who was known as a young star in the 1990s before rising to fame in the film ''Bohsia: Jangan Pilih Jalan Hitam'' in 2009, and ''Adnan Sempit'' in the following year. Nicholas Saputra Schubring (born 24 February 1984) is an Indonesian actor and film producer. He first rose to prominence as Rangga in the 2002 hit film '' Ada Apa dengan Cinta?'', a role he reprised in ''Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? 2'' in 2016. He has since established himself as one of Indonesia's most acclaimed actors with two Citra Award wins for Best Actor as the titular character in Riri Riza's ''Gie'' in 2005 and Best Supporting Actor in Edwin's '' Aruna & Her Palate'' in 2018. The Locarno Film Festival is an annual film festival, held every August in Locarno, Switzerland. Founded in 1946, the festival screens films in various competitive and non-competitive sections, including feature-length narrative, documentary, short, avant-garde, and retrospective programs. ''Bunohan'' (also under the international title of ''Bunohan: Return to Murder'') is a Malaysian Malay-language action drama film, written and directed by Dain Iskandar Said and released in Malaysia on 8 March 2012. The film features actors Faizal Hussein, Zahiril Adzim and Pekin Ibrahim in leading roles. Bunohan is the second film to be directed by Dain Said.
