Italy National Football Team
The Italy national football team ( it, Nazionale di calcio dell'Italia) has represented Italy in international football since its first match in 1910. The national team is controlled by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the governing body for football in Italy, which is a co-founder and member of UEFA. Italy's home matches are played at various stadiums throughout Italy, and its primary training ground and technical headquarters, Centro Tecnico Federale di Coverciano, is located in Florence. Italy are the reigning European champions, having won UEFA Euro 2020. Mauro Bellugi
Mauro Bellugi (; 7 February 1950 – 20 February 2021) was an Italian footballer who played as a defender. Club career Bellugi started his career with Inter Milan, making his debut for them on 31 August 1969 in a Coppa Italia match. In five seasons with Inter he played 90 Serie A matches, and 137 times in all senior competitions. Bellugi later also played for Bologna F.C. (1974–79), S.S.C. Napoli (1979–80) and A.C. Pistoiese (1980–81). International career Bellugi played 31 matches for the Italy national football team from 1972 to 1979. He played five games in the 1978 FIFA World Cup, where Italy managed a fourth-place finish, and was also in the squad for the 1974 tournament. Aldo Campatelli
Aldo Campatelli (; 7 April 1919 – 3 June 1984) was an Italian football manager and player who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Milan, Campatelli debuted in Serie A at 17 years of age and played for Inter for twelve seasons. In his early years, he played as an offensive winger with an eye for goal; he subsequently moved to midfield and later also played as a defender. At twenty years of age, he had already won a league championship and had been called up to the Italy national team by Pozzo to replace Serantoni in midfield. In 1940 he won his second title with Inter becoming the club's captain and a pillar of the team's midfield, while still maintaining his great striking ability. Tarcisio Burgnich
Tarcisio Burgnich (; 25 April 1939 – 26 May 2021) was an Italian football manager and player, who played as a defender. Throughout his career, Burgnich played for Udinese, Juventus, Palermo, Internazionale, and Napoli; although he won titles with both Juventus and Napoli, he is best known for his time with Inter Milan, where he was a member of manager Helenio Herrera's ''Grande Inter'' side. Lorenzo Buffon
Lorenzo Buffon (, ; born 19 December 1929) is an Italian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Throughout his career, he played 277 times for Italian club A.C. Milan, and also later played for their city rivals Inter Milan, as well as other Italian clubs, winning five Serie A titles. Roberto Boninsegna ( born 13 November 1943) is an Italian former football player, who mainly played as a forward. After retiring, he worked as a football manager. As a player, he represented the Italian national side at two World Cups, reaching the final in 1970. Bruno Bolchi
Bruno Bolchi (; 21 February 1940 – 27 September 2022) was an Italian football manager and player, who played as a midfielder. Throughout his playing career, he played for Inter, Verona, Atalanta, and Torino, as well as the Italy national team. Bolchi was depicted in the first ever Panini sticker to be printed in 1961. Cristiano Biraghi (; born 1 September 1992) is an Italian footballer who plays as a left back for Serie A club Fiorentina and the Italy national team. Alessandro Bianchi (; born 7 April 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or as forward, in the position of right winger.
