Inter-A
Inter-A is one of the options available to high school students in British Columbia, Canada. The program is based on developing leadership skills through co-operation, self-motivation and creativity, and is available to students in grades 8-12. Currently Inter-A is situated within Queen Elizabeth Secondary School which is part of School District 36 Surrey. It has a current student population of 156, with 9 teachers History The Inter-A program was devised by Victor Vollrath and John Harper in the mid 1970s. The two teachers were sharing a classroom and teaching at opposite sides when they came to the realization that this way of teaching was highly productive for students. In fact, individual students with the skills and motivation to excel maintain this level of productivity to this day. Thus, Inter-A was born. Kwantlen Park Secondary School
École Kwantlen Park Secondary School is a public high school in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and part of School District 36 Surrey. Kwantlen Park Secondary is named after the park beside which it is located. Approval was required from the Kwantlen First Nation in order to use their name. It ranked 25 out of 298 schools in the British Columbia and the Yukon according to the Fraser Institute Studies in Education Policy in 2006-2007. SMART Criteria
S.M.A.R.T. is a mnemonic acronym, giving criteria to guide in the Goal setting, setting of goals and objectives that are assumed to give better results, for example in project management, employee-performance management and personal development. The term was first proposed by George T. Doran in the November 1981 issue of ''Management Review''. He suggested that goals should be SMART (specific, measurable, assignable, realistic and time-related). Since then, other variations of the acronym have been used, a commonly used version includes the alternative words: attainable, relevant, and timely. Bard On The Beach
Bard on the Beach is Western Canada's largest professional Shakespeare festival. The theatre Festival runs annually from early June through September in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
