Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies, also known as IDIS, is a faculty of Rangsit University, located in Bangkok, Thailand. Established in September 2006, IDIS offers master's program in diplomatic studies. History In response to the challenges posed by globalization and the growing demand for skilled professionals in international affairs, Dr. Arthit Ourairat, President of Rangsit University in Thailand, made a strategic decision in 2006 to create an institute specializing in diplomatic studies. The formal approval for the establishment of the Institute of Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS) was granted by the Rangsit University Council on 22 March 2006. Rangsit University ( Thai: มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต) (RSU) is a private university in Pathum Thani, Thailand, focusing mainly on music, design, Information technology, and public health including independent professions.
