Inside NASCAR
''Inside NASCAR'' is a television show broadcast on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday during the NASCAR season on Showtime. The show was hosted by Chris Myers while the analysts were Michael Waltrip, Brad Daugherty, Susannah Collins and Kyle Petty who replaced Randy Pemberton who was an analyst during the show's first season in 2010. Petty joined in 2011 as an analyst. The show was a 30-minute show, that had new episodes weekly. After the 2012 season, Showtime announced that they would remove the show from their television schedule for the 2013 season. Michael Waltrip
Michael Curtis Waltrip (born April 30, 1963) is an American former professional stock car racing driver, racing commentator, and published author. He competes full time in the Camping World Superstar Racing Experience. He is the younger brother of three-time NASCAR champion and racing commentator Darrell Waltrip. Waltrip is a two-time winner of the Daytona 500, having won the race in 2001 and 2003. He is also a pre-race analyst for the NASCAR Cup Series and color commentator for the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series broadcasts for Fox Sports. He last raced in the 2017 Daytona 500, driving the No. 15 Toyota Camry for Premium Motorsports. All 4 of his NASCAR Cup Series wins came on superspeedways. Kyle Petty
Kyle Eugene Petty (born June 2, 1960) is an American former stock car racing driver, and current racing commentator. He is the son of racer Richard Petty, grandson of racer Lee Petty, and father of racer Adam Petty, who was killed in a crash during practice in May 2000. Petty last drove the No. 45 Dodge Charger for Petty Enterprises, where he formerly served as CEO; his last race was in 2008. Early career Petty was born in Randleman, North Carolina. He made his major-league stock car debut at the age of 18. He won the very first race he entered, the 1979 Daytona ARCA 200, in one of his father's old 1978 Dodge Magnum race cars; at the time, Petty became the youngest driver to win a major-league stock car race. Brad Daugherty (basketball)
Bradley Lee Daugherty (born October 19, 1965), nicknamed "Big Dukie" and "The Hooch", is an American former professional basketball player, analyst, and co-owner of NASCAR Cup Series team JTG Daugherty Racing. He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels and professionally with the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Amateur career Daugherty played basketball at Charles D. Owen High School in Black Mountain, North Carolina, where he led the Warhorses to the 1982 state finals. Daugherty accepted a scholarship to play at the University of North Carolina under legendary college basketball coach Dean Smith. Chris Myers (born ) is an American sportscaster. He has covered the Super Bowl, the World Series, the NBA Finals, the NCAA Final Four, The Masters, the U.S. Open, the Triple Crown, the Olympics, and the Daytona 500. The Nashville Network
The Nashville Network, usually referred to as TNN, was an American country music-oriented cable television network. Programming included music videos, taped concerts, movies, game shows, syndicated programs, and numerous talk shows. ''NASCAR Race Hub'' is a daily NASCAR news program broadcast on Fox Sports 1 Monday through Thursday. Originally broadcast on Speed, the show replaced ''NASCAR Nation'' and ''This Week in NASCAR''. ''NASCAR Race Hub'' premiered on October 12, 2009, as a 30-minute show, but was extended to 60 minutes in the following years. ''NASCAR on TNN'' was the name of a television program that broadcast NASCAR races on The Nashville Network (now Paramount Network). History TNN started showing races live in 1991, but it had aired taped coverage of a few Winston Cup races in the 1980s on its ''American Sports Cavalcade'' program. ''NASCAR Inside Nextel Cup'' was a show that aired Monday nights on Speed Channel during the NASCAR season. ''Inside Nextel Cup'' was hosted by Dave Despain. The show was taped every Monday morning at Speed's studios in Charlotte, North Carolina about 11 am, unless a race is postponed to Monday, in which case the show takes place live.
