Inocencia Alcubierre
Inocencia Alcubierre Rodríguez, also known as ''Ino Alcubierre'' (16 June 1901 – 1927) was a Spanish actress. Biography Alcubierre was born in Uncastillo in 1901 and moved to Barcelona during her childhood with her parents. As a teenager, she worked as an usher in a movie theater. In 1921, she received the lead role in her first film, a western called, ''Lilian''. She acted for director , as Doña Inés in the production of ''Don Juan Tenorio ''Don Juan Tenorio: Drama religioso-fantástico en dos partes'' (Don Juan Tenorio: Religious-Fantasy Drama in Two Parts) is a play written in 1844 by José Zorrilla. It is the more romantic of the two principal Spanish-language literary interpr ...'' in 1922. Alcubierre took a three-year hiatus to care for her baby daughter. Uncastillo
Uncastillo ( Aragonese: Uncastiello) is a municipality in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, eastern Spain. At the 2010 census,Instituto Nacional de Estadística (Spain) it had a population of 781. Along with Sos d'o Rei Catolico, Exeya d'os Caballers, Sádaba and Tauste, Uncastillo is one of the five towns comprising the ''comarca'' of Cinco Villas. In 1966 Uncastillo was declared a Conjunto Histórico-Artístico. It has several Romanesque buildings, including the parish churches of St. Martin and Santa Maria, and the churches of San Felices, San Andrés and San Juan. Its other landmarks include the castle and palace of Peter IV (14th century). ''Don Juan Tenorio: Drama religioso-fantástico en dos partes'' (Don Juan Tenorio: Religious-Fantasy Drama in Two Parts) is a play written in 1844 by José Zorrilla. It is the more romantic of the two principal Spanish-language literary interpretations of the legend of Don Juan. The other is the 1630 ''El burlador de Sevilla y convidado de piedra'' (The Trickster of Seville and the Guest of Stone), which is attributed to Tirso de Molina. ''Don Juan Tenorio'' owes a great deal to this earlier version, as recognized by Zorrilla himself in 1880 in his ''Recuerdos del tiempo viejo'' (Memories of the Old Times), although the author curiously confuses de Molina with another writer of the same era, Agustín Moreto. ''Nobleza baturra'' (The Nobility of the Peasantry, also known as ''Aragonese Virtue'') is a 1935 Spanish musical drama film directed by Florián Rey, and starring Imperio Argentina, Miguel Ligero Rodríguez, and Juan de Orduña. It is based on the play of the same name by Joaquín Dicenta. The film was a phenomenal success, and was one of the most commercially successful films of the Second Republic. The film was produced by CIFESA at CEA Studios. It was noted for its sentimental view of rural people, and its folklorish characters. Plot In Aragon in the early twentieth century, María del Pilar, an honest girl, is affected when a former suitor, out of spite of being rejected, publicises throughout the village that she had engaged in extramarital sex. This rumour soon spreads throughout the region.
