Innisfail State High School
Innisfail State High School (ISHS) is one of two high schools situated in Innisfail, Queensland, Australia. The school had students from Year 8 to Year 12. The school was established in 1955 and its motto was ''Honor Et Labore'' which means "Honor and Labour". 2009 marked the final year of ISHS, the site being abandoned following extensive damage done by cyclone Larry, as the school is now called Innisfail State College, situated in Flying Fish Point road. Innisfail (from Irish: Inis Fáil) is a regional town and locality in the Cassowary Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. The town was originally called Geraldton until 1910. In the , the town of Innisfail had a population of 7,236 people, while the locality of Innisfail had a population of 1,145 people. Innisfail is the major township of the Cassowary Coast Region and is known for its sugar and banana industries, as well as for being one of Australia's wettest towns. Brett Anderson (born 8 September 1986) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup. Brent Cockbain
Brent John Cockbain (born 15 November 1974 in New South Wales, Australia) is a former rugby union player who won 24 caps for Wales. Club career Although born in Australia, and with his brother Matt Cockbain having played international rugby for Australia, Brent decided to emigrate to the UK. Cockbain played club rugby for London Irish, then came to Wales in 1999 to join Pontypridd RFC. With the advent of regional sides in 2003, he played for the Celtic Warriors, then when the Warriors were shut down signed for the Ospreys in 2004. In the 2004–05 season he helped the Ospreys win the Celtic League and Wales win the Grand Slam, scoring his first and only international try against Italy. Cockbain returned from injury to club rugby with the Ospreys, but missed Wales' 2006 Autumn Internationals due to an injury. Billy Slater
William Slater (born 18 June 1983), is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. An Australian international and one-time captain of the Queensland State of Origin team, he played his entire club career in the National Rugby League for the Melbourne Storm, with whom he played in seven NRL Grand Finals. Slater also set the club's record for most ever tries and NRL record for most ever tries by a fullback. Slater amassed 190 NRL tries for the Melbourne Storm, which is the second most in an Australian first-grade career, behind Ken Irvine. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. Ty Williams
Ty Williams (born 27 November 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. North Queensland Cowboys Once scored 42 tries in a season as a centre for the Innisfail Leprechauns in the Cairns and district a-grade comp. Upon being signed with the Cowboys, he really developed his game and by the end of 2005 he was one of the NRL's best wingers.
