Petrove
Petrove ( uk, Петрове) is an urban-type settlement in Oleksandriia Raion of Kirovohrad Oblast (region) of Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Petrove settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: . Petrove is situated midway between Kropyvnytskyi and Dnipro cities on the bank of the Inhulets River. Petrove is a populated place of Petrove town council, which is a municipal community and beside the town also includes three neighboring villages. History It was a village in Kherson Governorate of the Russian Empire. In January 1989 the population was 9844 people. In January 2013 the population was 7530 people. Until 18 July 2020, Petrove was the administrative center of Petrove Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kirovohrad Oblast to four. Football Club Kremin Kremenchuk ( uk , ФК Кремінь Кременчук; ru , Кремень Кременчуг, translit=Kremen Kremenchug) is a professional football club based in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. The current club is administered by the city of Kremenchuk and was established in 2003, but it traces its heritage to the previously existing clubs of 1959–1970 and 1985–2001. FC Dnipro Kremenchuk (1959–1970) became the first club from Kremenchuk that obtained the professional status (team of masters). The club only played for six seasons in the Soviet lower leagues before it was dissolved. 2022–23 Ukrainian First League
The 2022–23 Ukrainian First League is the 32nd since its establishment. The league competition consisted of 16 teams. The competition is conducting during the ongoing war with the Russia since late February 2022. It was decided to conduct competitions in two groups. Format Due to the Russo-Ukrainian War, the league competitions changed its usual format. The Professional Football League of Ukraine (PFL) Conference adopted changes to the 2022–23 season after some 24 PFL teams were forced to suspend their activities or dissolve. It was decided to keep the same number of participants at 16 but split them in two groups of 8. Previously the split group competition in the second tier were only conducted once back in 1992.
