Ingrid Søfteland Neset
Ingrid Søfteland Neset (born 9 May 1992) is a Norwegian Classical flautist living in Stavanger (2017). She is the daughter of music teachers guitarist Terje Neset (born 1959) and pianist Anne Leni Søfteland Sæbø (born 1961), and the sister of the vocalist Anna Søfteland Neset (born 1987) and jazz saxophonist Marius Søfteland Neset (born 1985). She is known from numerous performances with orchestras like Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and in concerts and recordings (''Birds'' 2013) with her older brother Marius Neset. Career Neset picked up the flute at the age of ten and attended the Music program at Langhaugen vgs. (2008–10). Os (Hordaland)
Os is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. It was located in the Midhordland region, just south of Norway's second-largest city, Bergen. Weggis
Weggis is a municipality in the district of Lucerne in the canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It forms part of the northern shore of Lake Lucerne. The official language is German. History In about 800 the monastery of Pfäfers acquired the court of Wattawis. Hardanger Musikkfest
Hardanger Musikkfest or The Hardanger Music Festival is an annual music festival. In November 2021, media wrote that it is scheduled for later that month. Previously it had been held every Pentecost since 1996. In June, Hardanger Musikkfest arranges about 40 concerts over five days in the Hardanger municipalities Ullensvang, Odda, Eidfjord and Jondal (5.-10. juni 2019). The festival program mainly comprises Chamber music and Contemporary folke music from Hardanger and Norway in general. The Isle of Wight Festival 2012 was the eleventh revived Isle of Wight Festival, held at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle of Wight. The event ran from 21 to 24 June 2012. The 2012 event was the second under a ten-year deal between the Isle of Wight Council and the promoters Solos. Dubbed the "American Trilogy" by festival organiser John Giddings, it was headlined by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. Fallulah
Fallulah (born 6 February 1985) is a Danish-Romanian singer-songwriter and musician. Her given name is Maria Apetri. Following a short dancing career, she entered the music industry and released her debut album in 2010 which peaked at number three in Denmark and went on to be certified platinum. Early life Fallulah grew up in Tårnby on Amager island, the southern suburbs of Copenhagen. She attended Kalundborg Gymnasium. Her Danish mother, Lillian Apetri and her Romanian father Nicolae Apetri, were the initiators of the Balkanic folklore dance group Crihalma. Therefore, Fallulah spent much of her childhood on dancing tours in the Balkans and in Eastern Europe. This activity ceased when she lost her father at the age of nine years. Vossajazz or Vossa Jazz (established 19 December 1973) is an international jazz festival in Voss, Norway, which takes place annually during the week before Easter, and which also includes concerts throughout the year. The festival has been led by Trude Storheim since August 2007. History The first festival in 1974 was held the same weekend as the World Cup in Alpine skiing at Voss. Olav Fartein Valen (25 August 1887 – 14 December 1952) was a Norwegian composer, notable for his work in atonal polyphonic music. He developed a polyphony similar to Bach's counterpoint, but based on motivic working and dissonance rather than harmonic progression.
