Ingrid Olderock
Íngrid Felicitas Olderöck Benhard (1944 – March 17, 2001), better known as "''Woman of The Dogs''", was a Carabineros de Chile major who was converted to an agent of the DINA (Chilean Secret Police) in 1973. She was responsible for human rights violations during the first years of the military dictatorship of Chile. Early life Olderöck was a descendant of Nazi-affiliated Germans - her father came from Hamburg and her mother from Munich. She emigrated to Chile with her parents and sisters. According to Nancy Guzmán, journalist and author of the book ''Ingrid Olderöck: the woman with the dogs'', the future agent was raised in a very authoritarian family environment where there was a certain contempt for Latin culture, considering it less prone to order. ''Bestia'' is a 2021 Chilean stop-motion animated short film directed by Hugo Covarrubias and co-written with Martín Erazo. The film won Best Animated Short Subject at the 49th Annie Awards. General César Leonidas Mendoza Durán (September 11, 1918 – September 13, 1996) was a member of the Government Junta which ruled Chile from 1973 to 1990, representing the country-wide police force, the ''Carabineros de Chile''. Mendoza was born in Santiago, the youngest of the eleven children of Atilio Mendoza Valdebenito, a science teacher and first mayor of La Cisterna, and Amalia Durán, a pianist. The Venda Sexy is an estate near Santiago, Chile that was used as a torture center by the DINA secret police during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet. Description of the estate The house was divided in two floors and a basement and it was surrounded by a garden. The floor were in parquetry and the stairs in marble.
