Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole
Ingrid Jespersens Gymnasieskole is a private school located on Nordre Frihavnsgade in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. History The school was established as a private primary school for girls by Ingrid Jespersen under the name Ingrid Jespersens Pigeskole in 1894. It was originally based in rented rooms in Gustav Adolph Hagemann's former house on Nordre Frihavnsvej (formerly Kalkbrænderivej, now Nordre Frihavnegade). The house was replaced by a new three-storey building at the same site in 1897. It was designed in the National Romantic style by A. M. Andersen. In 1905, it was expanded to also include a gymnasium (High school). Ingrid Jespersen introduced sloyd laboratories for physics and chemistry classes in 1908, which was unusual for a girls' school at the time. The school was converted into a privately-owned institution in 1912 and was expanded by the architect Kristoffer Varming. Merete Ahnfeldt-Mollerup (born 1963) is a Danish architect, university professor and writer about architecture. Associate professor of Kunstakademiets Arkitektskole, she has authored numerous articles, papers and books. She is a member of the Danish Royal Academy and the Danish Centre for Design Research. Mads Brügger (; born 24 June 1972) is a Danish filmmaker and TV host. Career Film Brügger's first two projects, the documentary series '' Danes for Bush'' and the feature ''The Red Chapel'', filmed in the United States and North Korea, respectively, are satirical looks at each of the two nations. In October 2011, he released a new documentary, '' The Ambassador'', about the trading of diplomatic titles in Africa. Brügger impersonated a Liberian ambassador by purchasing a new identity on the black market and then proceeded to expose the ease with which people holding diplomatic titles can exploit the gem trade. Adam Price (born 7 May 1967) is a Danish screenwriter, playwright, and restaurateur. Early life and education Price's father John was a Danish actor and theatre director. His ancestors were British, and moved to Denmark from London in the late 18th century. Price studied law at the University of Copenhagen in the early 1990s, but had already begun professional script writing in the mid-1980s. Career Apart from writing, Price also stars as a television chef.
