Ingrid Colyer (born 27 October 1993) is an Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, playing for the West Coast Fever. Colyer grew up on a farm in Karridale, a small township in the south-west of Western Australia. Karridale, Western Australia
Karridale is a small township in the south-west of Western Australia. It is located just north of Augusta and south of Margaret River between Caves Road and Bussell Highway. A newer township was built a short distance north east of the original Old Karridale following fires that destroyed the town in 1961. At the 2006 census, Karridale had a population of 285. Although settled for many years through its milling operations, the townsite was not officially gazetted until 1979. History Karridale was established as a timber mill in 1884 by M. C. Davies who saw the potential from large virgin forests of Karri trees (''Eucalyptus diversicolor'') in the area. The Karridale School opened in 1888. West Coast Fever
West Coast Fever is an Australian netball team based in Perth, Western Australia. Since 2017 they have played in Suncorp Super Netball. Between 2008 and 2016, they competed in the ANZ Championship. Between 1997 and 2007, as Perth Orioles, they competed in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy league. During the ANZ Championship era, Fever were the only Australian team not to win a title, play in a grand final or feature in a finals series. However, during the Suncorp Super Netball era they emerged as challengers. They were grand finalists in both 2018 and 2020, and eventually claimed their first premiership in 2022. Netball
Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. The sport is played on indoor and outdoor netball courts and is specifically played in schools. Netball is most popularly played in Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth nations. Suncorp Super Netball is the top level netball league featuring teams from Australia. In 2017 it replaced the ANZ Championship, which also included teams from New Zealand, as the top level netball league in Australia. Ashleigh Brazill
Ashleigh Brazill (born 29 December 1989 in Campbelltown, New South Wales) is an Australian netball and AFL Women's player, playing both sports concurrently for Collingwood Football Club. She has played for the West Coast Fever and New South Wales Swifts previously in her netball career. Netball career Domestic Brazill made her domestic league debut for the New South Wales Swifts in 2010. She made the move to the West Coast Fever in 2012 and made an immediate impact, winning the club's MVP for the season. Brazill suffered with injuries over the next two seasons which restricted her time on court. Despite sitting out most of the 2014 ANZ Championship season Brazill captained Western Sting, leading the Fevers' reserves team to a bronze medal in the second-tier Australian Netball League (ANL).
