Inge Einarsen Bartnes
Inge Einarsen Bartnes (22 September 1911 – 16 January 1988) was a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He was born in Beitstad. He is the father of Erik Bartnes and grandfather of Inge Bartnes and Lars Erik Bartnes. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag Nord-Trøndelag (; "North Trøndelag") was a county constituting the northern part of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. Beitstad
Beitstad () is a village in the municipality of Steinkjer in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the Beitstadsundet strait at the end of the Beitstadfjorden at the inner end of the Trondheimsfjord, about southwest of the village of Vellamelen and about north of the town of Steinkjer. The village was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Beitstad which existed from 1838 until 1964 when it was merged into Steinkjer. Beitstad is situated along Norwegian County Road 17 (''Fylkesvei 17'') which has twisted through the village since 1867. It is a typical farming village that stretches from the bay and into the hinterland to the east. Animal husbandry, crop production, and forestry have traditionally been the prime industries. Beitstad Church is located in this village. Erik Bartnes
Erik Bartnes (27 November 1939 – 26 September 2020) was a Norway, Norwegian farmer and politician for the Centre Party (Norway), Centre Party. He is a son of Inge Einarsen Bartnes and father of Inge Bartnes, Anne Margrethe Bartnes, Tore Bartnes and Lars Erik Bartnes. He was from Beitstad in Steinkjer. He has worked in the Norwegian Agrarian Association and been mayor of Steinkjer. Following the 2003 Norwegian county council election, 2003 county council election he was appointed Nord-Trøndelag county municipality, county mayor of Nord-Trøndelag. He did not run for re-election in 2007 Norwegian local elections, 2007. He has also been a board member of the Regional Development Fund. Inge Bartnes (born 24 January 1970) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party. He is a grandson of Inge Einarsen Bartnes, son of Erik Bartnes and brother of Lars Erik Bartnes. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Nord-Trøndelag during the term 1997–2001. During Bondevik's First Cabinet Bartnes worked as a political advisor in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. When Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet assumed office following the 2005 elections, Bartnes was appointed State Secretary in the same Ministry. He resigned in September 2007. Lars Erik Bartnes (born 14 October 1978) is a Norway, Norwegian politician for the Centre Party (Norway), Centre Party. He is a grandson of Inge Einarsen Bartnes, son of Erik Bartnes and brother of Inge Bartnes. He took secondary education in Steinkjer and folk high school in Ringebu, then military service at Rena, Norway, Rena and Setermoen from 1998 to 2001, before studying political science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from 2001 to 2005. He chaired the county branch of the Centre Youth before becoming a central board member from 2003 to 2004. From 2005 to 2007 he worked as a media adviser for the Centre Party parliamentary group. Nord-Trøndelag (; "North Trøndelag") was a county constituting the northern part of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. The county was established in 1804 when the old Trondhjems amt was divided into two: Nordre Trondhjems amt and Søndre Trondhjems amt. In 2016, the two county councils voted to merge (back) into a single county on 1 January 2018. As of 1 January 2014, the county had 135,142 inhabitants, making it the country's fourth-least populated county. Beitstad (municipality)
Beitstad () is a former municipality in what was Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The municipality encompassed what is now the northeastern part of the municipality of Steinkjer in Trøndelag county. Beitstad was originally quite large, but by 1964, it included the areas east of the Beitstadsundet and Hjellbotn bay and north of the inner-most parts of the Trondheimsfjorden. The administrative centre was the village of Beitstad where Beitstad Church is located. History The parish of ''Bedstaden'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt).
