Infested
''Ticks'', also known as ''Infested'', is a 1993 direct-to-video horror film directed by Tony Randel and starring Peter Scolari, Seth Green, Rosalind Allen, Ami Dolenz, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Clint Howard. Plot Drug dealer Jarvis Tanner uses steroids to enhance marijuana plants. Run-off from his operation has mutated the local ticks. Tyler Burns is sent to join an inner-city wilderness project in an attempt to conquer his fear of the woods, led by Holly Lambert and Charles Danson. Tyler meets his fellow campers Darrel “Panic” Lumley, Charles’ daughter Melissa, Dee Dee Davenport, Rome Hernandez, and Kelly Mishimoto. They stop at a store to get supplies. While there, Melissa is confronted by Sir and Jerry, two locals. Jerry harasses Melissa, but is told to leave her alone by Sir. Jarvis’ hamster is killed by a tick. Ami Dolenz
Ami Bluebell Dolenz (born January 8, 1969) is an American former actress. Early life Dolenz was born in Burbank, California, into a show business family. She is the daughter of Micky Dolenz of the 1960s group the Monkees, and British television presenter Samantha Juste. Her paternal grandparents were the film actors George Dolenz and Janelle Johnson. Career At age 15, Dolenz won a junior talent contest and decided to become an actress. She dropped out of high school and began appearing in roles on various television series. One of her first acting roles was in the television movie ''The Children of Times Square'', followed by a two-episode stint on ''Growing Pains''. In 1987, she had a small role in the comedy ''Can't Buy Me Love''. Tony Randel
Tony Randel (born May 29, 1956) is an American film director and screenwriter. Film career In 1985, Randel (credited as Anthony Randel) produced the New World Pictures rework of the Japanese ''The Return of Godzilla'' into the English film ''Godzilla 1985''. Randel's breakthrough into directing came when Randel, who had supervised the production of Clive Barker's ''Hellraiser'', was hired by New World's President of Production, Steve White, to direct the sequel '' Hellbound: Hellraiser II''. It received mixed reviews, but was a financial success. Randel also directed the live-action film adaptation of the manga ''Fist of the North Star''. The film premiered on HBO and was released to video. He also directed one of ''Fangorias low-budget films, '' Children of the Night'' (1991), which one critic described as obviously low budget, but with striking scenes.
