FIBA Asia 3x3 Cup
The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup is the top basketball tournament in Asia for 3x3 national teams and was first held in 2013 as the FIBA Asia 3x3 Championship in Doha, Qatar. In the championship there are 2 events, men's and women's. Each team has 4 players (3 on court, 1 bench). The match is played on a half court and every rule applies as well as a 12-second shot clock and clearance needed on a new possession. From 2019 to 2022, the tournament was held in Changsha, China. 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Cup – Men's Tournament
The 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Cup was held in Antwerp, Belgium and was contested by 20 teams. Serbia won their fifth title with a win over Lithuania. Participating teams All five FIBA zones were represented. The top 20 teams, including the hosts, based on the FIBA National Federation ranking qualified for the tournament. After the exclusion of Russia due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Slovenia was named as the replacement team. Players Preliminary round The pools were announced on April 4, 2022. 2022 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The 2022 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup was the fifth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup. The games of the final tournament were held in Singapore between 6 July and 10 July 2022. Participating teams The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup returns for its fifth edition this year and will see 53 teams from 30 countries battling it out to win the trophy. Set to take place from July 6-10 at the event plaza of Marina Bay Sands, the game - with its rising popularity over the years - has reached a significant high in participation numbers. The previous record was set in 2019 with 40 teams from 23 countries. A total of 30 men’s teams and 23 women’s teams have registered for the number one 3x3 national team competition for teams based in Asia and Oceania. 2019 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup
The 2019 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup was the fourth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup. The games of the final tournament were held in Changsha, China between 24 May and 26 May 2019. Participating teams The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup has a men's and women's tournament, each contested by twelve national teams. The teams were drawn into their groups as per their FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking as of March 1, 2019. Nine teams for the men's team and ten teams for the women's team outright qualified for the final tournament while the remaining berths were contested in a qualification phase held from 22 to 23 May, 2019.
