The Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame is a hall of fame that honors professional wrestlers and wrestling personalities who contributed to the independent circuit, founded by Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) and the ''Orange Crush'' magazine. History On November 19, 2021, GCW announced the establishment of the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame. The inaugural ceremony took place on January 22, 2022, at The Cutting Room in New York City. A hall, wall, or walk of fame is a list of individuals, achievements, or other entities, usually chosen by a group of electors, to mark their excellence or Wiktionary:fame, fame in their field. In some cases, these halls of fame consist of actual halls or museums that enshrine the honorees with sculptures, plaques, and displays of memorabilia and general information regarding the inducted recipients.
